New Year More Art
Any one else not working on resolutions this year but instead trying to slow down, take a moment and just enjoy each and every day?
Don’t get me wrong, I am definitely going to make goals for myself and always work to grow me and my business. The idea of starting that with a new year and having no leeway though is not happening. I am always thinking about the next big thing and working towards that constantly, I don’t need a new calendar year to tell me to push too hard for the next 3 months and it will all work out.
Now that I have that little rant out of the way, I have some exciting news for you!
Im going back to school! Sort of.
This year I invested in an online course with the intent to elevate my art skills. With that I am hoping to help find my voice to create more cohesive collections for those who wish to do the collecting. The classes are going to walk me through all of the basics and beyond!
I started the first week of the year working on graphite drawings and learning that not all oil paint is created equal. Along with my class work I am still taking time to work on my acrylic pieces that I have in this little brain of mine. Turns out school and art supplies cost money and I still need to bring in some income if I want to continue to learn and grow. :) I know it is going to be an adjustment working on my pieces and taking on this coursework but I am up for the challenge and it has inspired even more ideas! I hope you will bear with me for my lack of posting on my socials and not getting pieces completed as quickly as I have in the past. Your support means everything to this dream of mine. <3

My hope for the year is to find my community and open up to my collectors. I want to invite you all into the mind of an artist and share my process and my failures. I will be putting myself out there and in return wish to connect with you all on a more personal level. I am an open book but have always been afraid to put that book on a shelf for anyone. If there is anything you want to know more about or see further in to this little life of mine please don’t be afraid to reach out. Human connection is needed and I am inviting you! Happy January, this is going to be a great year of growth and exploration.
